Who actually turns up?
Peter and Adam. That is the whole team — there is no third van and no subcontractor. It is why our Google reviews tend to name us both rather than the business.
Do you do the plumbing and the tiling, or do I need other trades?
A bathroom or cloakroom fit is handled end to end: strip-out, pipework, boarding, tiling, suite, second fix and silicone. The one thing we will flag at quote stage is anything that has to be signed off by a registered gas or electrical engineer — that gets the right person brought in rather than fudged.
How long will my bathroom be out of action?
It depends on the room, the tile and what we find once the old suite is out, so we would rather give you a realistic date once we have seen it than a number here that turns out to be wrong for your house. What we will tell you is the honest worst case at quote stage, not the best one.
Do you supply the suite and tiles, or do I?
Either. Plenty of customers enjoy choosing their own and we are happy to fit what you have bought — we will just ask to see the spec before it is ordered, because a bath or a shower tray that does not suit the room is a lot cheaper to change on a screen than on a Tuesday morning.
Can you do a cloakroom or an en-suite rather than a full bathroom?
Yes, and we do a lot of them. Small rooms are less forgiving than big ones, not more — there is nowhere to hide a bad cut and every pipe run has to be planned around a door swing. Several of our customers have had us back for the downstairs loo after the main bathroom.
Do you fit kitchens too?
We do. Units, worktops, appliance fitting, splashbacks and the flooring that goes with them. Same two of us, same approach — and the same caveat about gas and electrical sign-off where it applies.
Will you take the old suite and the rubble away?
Yes. Clearing up is part of the job, not an extra line on the invoice, and it is not left stacked in the front garden until the end of the week.
